setterm
Setterm(1) allows to access terminal features that can not
be used by tput(1), because they can not be represented in
the termcap/terminfo databases. This version makes it easy to add new
options and terminal types. Functions offered by tput (any terminfo based
mechanisms) or by devices (screen contents for Linux) are not duplicated.
This version supports the Linux console, Wyse 60 terminals, DEC VT100 terminals, xterm and xwsh. You are welcome to send me additions for other terminals.
